For your five hour layover did you have to claim your luggage? I have a 8 hour layover in Guam coming soon and I wanted to visit family and claim my luggage to give them presents. Thank you!
We did not, but we also didn’t go through immigration. (I’m not sure how this applies, as Guam is a U.S. territory.) If Immigration is not an issue, then you could have your airline check your bags only to Guam, and then re-check them in after taking out the gifts.
