Located on the Mandore Road outside of Jodhpur, the Maha Mandir temple is in a small suburban colony.  It was built relatively recently (1812) and the interior of the temple is decorated with some beautiful paintings of yoga poses. The temple also doubles as the area school, with all of the terraces being filled with students learning their lessons. When we visit, the students are out on holiday, but it’s easy to imagine the temple courtyard filled with energetic kids.
