The scariest moments

The scariest moments in travel
have always been in taxis.
— Tony Wheeler (founder of Lonely Planet) 14 August 2014

I’m at the 2014 Travel Writer’s conference, having an amazing time and mingling with some of my long-time heroes. I’m in a 3-day writing seminar with Tim Cahill (“Jaguars Ripped My Flesh“, “Pecked to Death by Ducks“, etc.) I’m rubbing elbows with Jeff Greenwald, David Farley, Andrew Evans, Robert Holmes, Georgia Hesse, and of course the amazing Tony Wheeler.

Tomorrow I will sit silent as Tim Cahill and 8 other students critique my last blog post.  After I re-work it based on their feedback, I’ll re-post it.  I’d love to hear what you think.
